Our team is tasked with gaining a deep understanding of our users, identifying opportunities for innovation and informing the product strategy of the company. We aim to solve the problems that really matter to our users which often involves increasing their productivity, improving the quality of their work and getting them home safely at the end of the day

       

       

      The TOOLS you’ll need to have: 
      • You are interested in design research as a career path
      • You are curious: about your research topic, the company, your co-workers, and your process
      • You are comfortable with approaching and talking to a wide range of people
      • You enjoy finding patterns & making sense of qualitative data
      • You are a champion for the user and their needs in the product development process
      • You have strong verbal, written and visual communication skills

       

      You'll execute EXTREME OWNERSHIP through these duties and responsibilities: Under the direction of an experienced design researcher, you will have the following responsibilities.
      • Plan, create and execute a research project of your own that will have real impact on the business
      • Recruit users and conduct in field research using methods such as semi-structured interviews, observations or prototype validation
      • Analyze the qualitative data you have collected and synthesize it into actionable insights
      • Turn your research insights into a well-crafted story and present your take aways to project stakeholders
      • Collaborate with product managers, engineers and designers that are passionate about user centered design
      • Assist in planning and facilitating team workshops to build empathy for users and inspire creativity

       

      Application Requirements:  
      • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, Industrial Design, Graphic Design or a related area of study
