      Your Role on Our Team: 

      The Leave of Absence (LOA) Intern will be part of the Talent Operations team and helps support employees during important life events, such as medical leaves, family leaves, or other time-away situations. You’ll gain hands-on experience in HR operations, compliance, and employee relations while learning how a large organization manages the end-to-end leave process.

       

      What You’ll Do:

      • Review and process employee leave requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
      • Prepare clear communications for employees and managers about their leave status.
      • Talk directly with employees to understand their needs and guide them through the process.
      • Learn the basics of leave compliance under state and federal regulations.
      • Develop professional skills in communication, empathy, and problem-solving.
      • Keep records organized and track important case information.
      • Assist with projects and initiatives that support the broader Talent Operations team.

      What TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

      • Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communications or related fields
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access and other related software 
      • Detailed-oriented with the ability to multi-task and follow projects through to completion 
      • Ability to work well independently, as well as within a team atmosphere 
      • Ability to maintain professional confidentiality
