      Our Digital Platform team is responsible for supporting our continued growth by partnering with each function to identify digital solutions that can help automate business processes, drive user adoption, develop custom digital products that deliver value to our end users, evaluate and implement purchased software solutions, enable advanced technologies like AI and ML, and manage the infrastructure and security these solutions require across the enterprise. We work to solve business challenges and drive efficiency through technology.

      Within this team, our SEO & AI Search function owns how Milwaukee Tool is discovered, understood, and represented across search engines, retailer and distribution platforms, and AI-driven answer experiences. As search continues to shift toward AI-generated results, this work is central to how customers find and evaluate our product.

      Your Role on Our Team

      As a Solution Analyst Intern, you’ll work closely with our SEO lead, business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to understand problems, propose technical solutions, and help document and communicate decisions that shape enterprise-level digital tools. You’ll gain hands-on experience with solution design, technical documentation, and agile delivery practices.

      You'll execute EXTREME OWNERSHIP through these duties and responsibilities:

      • Participate in discovery sessions to understand and define business requirements.
      • Conduct keyword, search intent, and competitive research to identify content and product visibility opportunities.
      • Support monitoring of organic search and AI search visibility using tools such as Google Search Console and enterprise SEO platforms.
      • Help audit content, metadata, and structured data for clarity, consistency, and machine readability across owned and partner platforms.
      • Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Analysts and Platform Analysts to define technical specifications, epics, or solution designs.
      • Project manage the delivery of epics or contribute to the daily progress of an implementation.
      • Provide clear and timely communication of key product/platform milestones, including delivery timelines, risk assessments, issues, and successes, throughout the product lifecycle.
      • Foster collaboration across teams to achieve alignment and provide seamless delivery of integrated solutions.
      • Help build and maintain reporting, dashboards, and documentation that make search and AI visibility insights easy for non-technical teams to understand.
      • Be curious – questions are the lifeblood of our role and are the means by which we solve problems.
      • Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as PI planning, sprint reviews, etc.
      • Contribute to ideation and innovation by sharing insights and ideas to enhance our technology stack, algorithms, and product offerings.
      • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

      The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

      • Interest in how search engines and AI systems discover, interpret, and present content.
      • Familiarity with how applications interact via APIs, and how data flows through systems such as relational databases or SaaS platforms.
      • Coursework or interest in Logic, Technical Product Management, Program Management, IT, or Computer Science.
      • Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
      • Exposure to project or product management concepts.

      Other TOOLS that will help BUILD your expertise:

      • Creative perspective that you apply to problem solving and a strong desire to think outside of the box.
      • Familiarity with software integrations, web services, cloud computing, SEO, content, analytics, or AI tools, and an interest in how data flows between systems and platforms.
      • Passionate about solving business problems with technology.
      • Ability to work through ambiguous problems that may have multiple solutions.
