      Our Engineering Team is responsible for creating innovative solutions that address the unmet needs of our customers. We do this through increasing our users’ productivity by integrating new technologies and methodologies to deliver new-to-world products and product enhancements. We work together with our users through observation, interviews, and field research, making them part of the solution process. Our team defines critical benefits to our end users, constructs prototypes, and evaluates product designs considering unmet user needs, durability, materials, and manufacturing processes. Working cross functionally, we perform a wide variety of engineering and design tasks including translating user observations to insights, employing proven ideation techniques, 3D modeling and mathematical simulation, and rapid prototype development.

      The TOOLS you’ll need to have: 

      • Learn to read blueprints, sketches, and closely follow verbal instructions.    

      • Opportunities to learn CAD & CAM, CNC Mills, Turning Centers, 5 axis mills, 5 axis mill-turns, wire EDM, Sinker EDM, etc  

      • Show ability/understanding in CNC programming (CAM) 

      • Concerted interest in the machining/tool and die trade 

      • Strong mechanical aptitude 

      • Culture alignment is imperative, interpersonal skills, self-starter with a positive attitude 

      • Good communication skills and a desire to build constructive working relationships 

      • Maintain a clean working environment 

      • Ability to maintain attention to detail while safely operating different machine tools 

      • Exhibits competency to maintain quality of entry level prototyping 

      • Ability to strategize/prepare effectively and follow through according to plans 

      • Ability to perform manual machining operations 

      • Desire to learn entry level trade requirements, including waterjet, CNC milling, CNC turning, grinding, laser engraving, etc. 

      • Embrace a growth mindset, seek out coaching and feedback, while developing problem solving and troubleshooting abilities with the goal of becoming a self-sufficient Machinist 

       

      What TOOLS you’ll bring with you:   

      • High School Diploma or equivalent.  

      • Enrolled in a technical school, trade specific, is a plus.  

      • An individual that is self-motivated, team player, creative, and a self-thinker.
