      As an Apparel Design Intern, you will be immersed within the team and gain hands on learning experience. You will jump right in and help out on impactful projects from the very start of your internship.

      You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:  

      • Focus design on the end user to achieve 'state of the art' opportunities for product innovation. 

      • Assist with building seasonal concept and mood boards 

      • Assist in compiling tech packs, master sheets and seasonal product layouts 

      • Prepare design and graphic files for trim development 

      • Research product trend and end user needs 

      • Sourcing of fabric, trims and other design components 

      • Set up and maintain design books and materials library 

      • Evaluate samples to determine compliance of specs, construction and fit intent 

      • Prepare garments and participate in technical fittings 

      • Communicate & collaborate with partners in Product Marketing, Development & Design 

      • Attending Team meetings and presentations 

      • Other Duties as assigned. 

       

      The TOOLS you’ll bring with you: 

      • Pursuing a degree in apparel or technical design (or related field) 

      • Creative mindset capable of responding to business objectives with creative, innovative, and cost-effective design solutions 

      • Ability to recognize, research and report on industry trend direction, color direction, and fabric innovation 

      • Basic fit and pattern making skills 

      • High level of organization 

      • Team player, willing to ask questions 

      • Passion for creative problem solving 

      • Fluent in Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
