Quality & Reliability Engineering Intern

We work together with our users through observation, interviews, and field research, making them part of the solution process. Our team defines critical benefits to our end users, constructs prototypes, and evaluates product designs considering unmet user needs, durability, materials, and manufacturing processes. Working cross functionally, we perform a wide variety of engineering and design tasks including translating user observations to insights, employing proven ideation techniques, 3D modeling and mathematical simulation, and rapid prototype development.

The TOOLS you’ll need to have:
Quality
- Help manage and create corrective action plans used in the corporate office to ensure timely root cause analysis and effective corrective/preventive action.
- Apply statistical methods for design of experiments and statistical process control to quality related issues.
- Perform analysis on quality and environmental systems for your teams review and as a basis for improvement
Reliability
- Participate and collaborate on project teams involving Marketing and Engineering leading in all aspects of reliability and testing
- Develop test plans and procedures based on new or established products, to ensure product meets customer requirements
- Collaborate with test laboratories to ensure full test completion and best practices are utilized
- Draw concise, logical, written conclusions from experiments based on data analysis
What TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
- Student working towards a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with basic direction.
- Solid analytical and technical skills required.
- Willingness to work with hands
