The Milwaukee Tool Marketing Data Analytics Internship is an opportunity to learn and improve skills that are critical to a career in data analytics. This internship will expose you to many aspects of a cross-functional business, and will provide avenues to develop your leadership, project management, and technical capabilities.
Working as an extended member of the Brand Marketing team, this role will assist in evaluating, accelerating, and activating our digital marketing measurement and technology strategy across several consumer touchpoints. This includes website/digital products, search, display, social media, CRM/email, and personalized content communications. This position also works with internal and external partners to recommend key strategies and tests for digital marketing tactics that impact the business’ demand creation strategies and brand equity. The role requires experience with data analysis and storytelling, technological prowess, effective communication skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit to drive impact for the company.

You'll execute EXTREME OWNERSHIP through these duties and responsibilities:
- Build an understanding of all aspects of project management, from initiation to closure
- Become familiar with the makeup of the company’s digital marketing mix and consumer journey
- Interface with different areas of the business (e.x. Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, and IT) regularly, as well as for a cross-functional capstone project which you will participate in a present at the end of your internship.
- Leverage multiple technologies and data sources to develop and deliver holistic insights that address current business problems, streamline processes, or support the evaluation/optimization of Brand digital marketing tactics
- Assist in the continual improvement of the company’s data analytics strategy across the entire consumer lifecycle and all digital touchpoints (web, social, email, etc.)
What TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
- Students working toward their bachelor’s degree, with a major or minor preferably in Analytics, Marketing, Statistics, Business, IT, or Computer Science
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, and proficiency in other Microsoft Office software including Word and PowerPoint.
- SQL experience, knowledge of R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or Data Studio preferred.
- Ability to learn new platforms and technologies
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
- Passionate about solving business problems with data and technology
