Your Role on Our Team
The objective of this program is to hire top talent and grow future technical and people leaders of our Information Technology team. Milwaukee Tool commits to investing in those in our Technology Development Program by providing both technical and personal development training to build you into a future leader! This is a rotational program with four, six-month rotations designed to provide broad exposure to Milwaukee Tool and emerging you into relevant technologies in the data & analytics space.
Your role is to help drive and deliver innovative data products which will allow Milwaukee Tool to leverage Speed, Agility, and Urgency when making data-driven decisions. Working closely with our customers and Data platform team members, you will design, develop, and support the foundational systems of our data platform. This involves leveraging best practices and emerging technologies to create data processing pipelines, self-service analytical tools, and the governance components necessary to support our customer and team data needs. You will also gain expertise in understanding the data under management and aid in supporting and performing advanced analytical processes, such as machine learning. A successful candidate will have a passion for learning and experimentation and desire to share their knowledge with others for the better of our customers.
What TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
- A forthcoming bachelor’s or master’s degree in data, software engineering, or related field
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:
- Experience with Microsoft SQL
- Experience with data analytics tools like Microsoft PowerBI
- Experience in data modeling, ETL development, and data storage
- Experience with Python
- Experience in cloud infrastructure & data processing
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
